Black Diamond Winery

This winery just opened in May and is located in the foothills of the Olympics. They have their own vineyard with seven varieties of grapes, but for now they are offering a Pinot Gris made from Oregon grapes, as well as fruit wines made using locally grown rhubarb and strawberries, as well as apricot and plum varieties.

Directions: From downtown Port Angeles go west on Front St. to Race St. Head south on Race St. to 8th St. Turn west on 8th St. to Pine St. Then head south on Pine St. to the bridge. Cross the bridge which begins Black Diamond Rd. Follow this about 3 miles; the winery is on the right side of the road.
Hours: April - October open Thurs.-Sun. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Winter hours (November-March) open Saturdays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
