Around Port Angeles: Sequim
Previous | Next

Sequim provides another option for food and lodging during a trip to Olympic National Park. There are plenty of motels and restaurants here, and the town is close to family fun spots like the Olympic Game Farm and the Purple Haze Lavender Farm. Fun places for adults include two wineries: Olympic Cellars, and Lost Mountain Winery.

Also in the area is the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, which is home to 250 species of birds and includes the longest sandspit in the U.S. There's a lighthouse at the end of the spit and camping is available at the park.

Getting there:
Sequim is about 20 minutes east of Port Angeles on Highway 101.
