Get out and get some air by taking a walk in Volunteer Park. The park occupies 44 acres and provides a variety of engaging activities. Located in the heart of Seattle, Volunteer Park is home the Volunteer Park Conservatory and the Seattle Asian Art Museum.

Volunteer Park Conservatory, Seattle Asian Art Museum, sound, mountain and downtown views, Olmsted Exhibit located in the Water Tower at the south entrance to the park, children's play area , 4 tennis courts - 2 are lighted, wading pool, band stand, off-leash area for dogs .

Overview: The unique building nestled in the heart of the park is the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Its collection includes works from Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Nearby is a beautiful glass conservatory built in 1912 that provides a warm and humid escape from the outdoors if the weather is cool. Flourishing within are lush ferns, many varieties of cacti and beautiful orchids. The park also has an old water tower that rewards climbers with a spectacular (and free) 360-degree view of Seattle. And if you're still looking for diversion, take a house walk in the residential area nearby and admire all the stately, historic mansions.
