Mercer Slough Nature Park
Mercer Slough has over 320 acres of preserved wetlands and trails. Marshy lands, mossy forest, many varieties of plants and animals, and all within five minutes of downtown Bellevue.

Location: Bellevue: 2102 Bellevue Way SE
Directions:
Take the SE 8th St. exit and head west. Turn left on 118th Ave. SE for the Heron Rookery, Science Center and Interpretive Trail. Turn left on 112th Ave. SE and continue left onto Bellevue Way SE for the Winters Estate, Overlake Blueberry Farm and canoe/kayak launch.

Facilities:
Two picnic tables are located adjacent to the Winters House, located at 2102 Bellevue Way SE. Canoes and kayaks may be launched on the slough at the Sweyolocken Boat Launch located at 3024 Bellevue Way SE. Guided canoe trips are also available. Blueberries are still grown in the Mercer Slough at the Overlake Blueberry Farm, located at 2380 Bellevue Way SE. During the summer months, berries are sold at the farm, and U-pick areas are also available.

Remarks:With more than 170 species of birds and other animals, the Mercer Slough is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the urban Puget Sound region. Visitors can look for wildlife by using the park's extensive trail system or by taking a canoe trip up the slough. Three-hour guided canoe trips are available May through September.
