Madrona Park
A good place to get in the waters of Lake Washington on a hot summer day, this sun drenched beach is also a good place to take the kids.

Remarks: The park was named for the Madrona trees leaning over the lake. It was originally a private trolley park operated by Seattle Electric Company. In 1908, the city acquired the park in 1908 and operated it as a public beach. The bathhouse was converted into a dance studio in 1971. It is now call the Madrona Dance Studio.
