Duwamish Trail

The trail roughly follows the Duwamish River in what may be Seattle's largest open-space route through the city. A one mile extension to link up the Duwamish Trail with the Alki Beach Trail is currently under way. The new connection will allow users to travel continuously from Alki Beach Park to the 1st Avenue South Bridge over the Duwamish River to the Duwamish Trail.
