UW Arboretum
The Washington Park Arboretum is a large park and a plant museum and educational center. It is internationally known as having the country's largest plant collections.

Hours: Grounds and Trails, 7:00 am to dusk, Donald G Graham Visitors Center open 7 days a week from 10:00 am to 4:00pm .
Parking: There is free street parking all around the lake, plus several parking lots.

Remarks: The Graham Visitor Center was built in 1985. The Arboretum Foundation raised $700,000 to build The Center. The Center for Urban Horticulture offers a wide variety of classes. The center also conducts community outreach and youth and family programs. The Arboretum Foundation provides funding and volunteer assistance.
