Alki Beach Trail
The trail stretches along Alki Beach, parallel to Alki Park in West Seattle. The trail offers a nice vista for in-line skaters, bicyclists, runners and walkers. Benches line the trail, facing both the waterfront and the street.

Picnic benches and shelters are available for those who want to stop at the scenic beachfront and enjoy a snack.

Trail/Path Users:
In-line skaters, bicyclists, runners and walkers keep the trail well used year-round, especially in the summer.

Distance:
The trail runs about eight miles each way and will soon connect with the 11-mile Duwamish Trail which roughly follows the Duwamish River south to Kent.

Notes:
Though the wheeled and pedestrian lanes are well marked, use caution when approaching other trail users from behind. The trail and restrooms are compliant with guidelines established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
