Comments: Vashon Island is a short ferry ride from Seattle. If you're in Seattle and want to do some mountain biking that isn't too technical, yet visually beautiful this is the place for you. Vashon Island offers everything from fireroads to singletrack. There is minimal climbing so physical strain is relatively low. If you love nature and mountain biking, this is a must if you are ever in Seattle.
Directions: From Seattle: Take I-5 South to the West Seattle Bridge. Take the West Seattle Bridge east and follow it through the first stop light. The road changes names to Fauntleroy. Continue straight on Fauntleroy in the right lane for 4.5 miles to Lincoln Park. Take the Ferry to Vashon (you'll probably want to park your car at the park).
