Trails near Seattle: Kaches Ridge
Intro to mountain biking | More cycling
Distance: 18.6 miles
Elevation: 2600 feet +
Level of difficulty: Extremely challenging
Comments: Roughly graded dirt, rocky downhills, and nearly impossible switch backs make Kaches Ridge one of the most difficult rides in the state. There is a great view making this a fun but difficult ride.
Directions: From Seattle follow I-90 east over the Snoqualmie Pass. Turn onto exit 70 and cross back over I-90 to the north side. Turn left on Kaches Dam Road. Then turn right on the third road. Parking is just a half a mile down the road under some power lines.
