Fall foliage Fall Colors in Washington
The cool winds are starting to arrive on our doorstep, changing the green leaves of summer into a glorious explosion of fall tones.

That means one thing: It's time to load the family in the mini van and stroll the backroads and mountainside highways of Washington, to marvel at the color-streaked countryside. Here are some areas to consider visiting.

Recommended Daytrips
For a real taste of the Northwest's spectacular autumn colors, take a drive up Chuckanut Drive towards Bellingham, a ride on the
North Cascades Highway or a daytrip over Stevens Pass on Highway 2 to Leavenworth.
