Westhaven State Park
Location
Approximately 23 miles west of Aberdeen and just northeast of the town of Westport on State Route 105.

79.06 acres with 1,215 feet of ocean frontage.
Acquired
This park was acquired from the Port of Grays Harbor in 1968 at no cost.
Historical Background
The park was created by accreted land. During the 1940s a jetty was built to protect the harbor at Westport. This jetty caused land accretion which became the park. December 1987 winter storms washed away the restroom, 2 picnic sites, and 25% of the paved parking.
Facilities
132 space parking lot with 3 handicapped spaces, 7 R.V. sites, an ADA unisex restroom with outside shower and drinking faucet.
Activities
Picnicking, fishing, clamming, horseback riding, kite flying, crabbing in Half Moon Bay, surfing, scuba diving, and beachcombing.
