Wenatchee Confluence state park
Location
Wenatchee Confluence State Park is located in Chelan County at the north end of Wenatchee on Olds Station Road. The Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers meet inside the park boundary.

Acquired
Operating and lease agreement with Chelan County Public Utility District No. 1 was signed April 26, 1991. The park operated under Chelan County Public Utility funds from October 5, 1990 to June 30, 1991.
Historical Background
In 1989, the Chelan County Public Utility District No. 1 purchased the North and South Confluence State Park sites from the Mike Horan family, a long-time area orchardist.
The origin of the name "Wenatchee Confluence" refers to the site location at the mouth of the Wenatchee River where it joins the Columbia River.
January 26, 1990, Commission action named the site "Wenatchee Confluence State Park." The land within the park was classified as follows: the north site as recreation area and the south site as a natural area. The south site has been designated the "Horan Natural Area".

51 full hookup sites, 8 standard sites, 111 picnic sites, 325 lineal-foot swim beach, 2 boat-launch ramps, 2 picnic shelters, 5 restrooms, 1 bathhouse, 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, a multi-use playfield, 2 Big Toys, pedestrian bridge, ranger residence, ranger apartment, shop, contact station, trailer dump, 2-mile paved trail, 8,800 lineal-foot nature trail with 16 viewing stations, 3 kiosks, a volleyball site and reservable group area.
