In Grant County, 20 miles southwest of Moses Lake.

640 acres with 6,000 feet of freshwater shoreline.

Acquired from the Bureau of Reclamation in May 1953 via a 50-year memorandum of agreement.
Historical Background
Potholes derives its name from the geologic formations of the area. Shallow depressions were created during the Pleistocene flooding, which are now filled with lakes.
Facilities
33 picnic sites, 60 utility sites, 66 primitive sites, trailer dump station, 2 hiker/biker sites, 4 restrooms, 4 vault toilets, boat launch with parking for 225 vehicles, 1 shop, and 2 residences, a group camp area and 1 host/ volunteer campsite.
