Crown Point Overlook state park

Location

Crown Point is located 2 miles north of Grand Coulee Dam just off State Route 174 in the northeast corner of Douglas County.

Acreage

13.0 acres.

Acquired

This park was acquired from the Bureau of Reclamation in 1950, for a total cost of $200.

Historical Background

Constructed by the Highway Department, the site provides outstanding views of the Columbia River, Grand Coulee Dam, and the town of Coulee Dam and its surrounding countryside.

Facilities

150 car parking area, viewpoint vista dome.

Activities

Sightseeing.
