Location:
Bogachiel State Park is located six miles south of Forks, on both sides of Highway 101.

123.1 acres with 2,800 feet of freshwater shoreline frontage along the Bogachiel River.
Acquired
The park was acquired in 1971, for a total cost of $86,600.
Historical Background
The park was established in 1931. Due to a lack of funds, the State Park Commission entered into an agreement with the Bogachiel Commercial Club and the Forks Chamber of Commerce to jointly operate and manage the area as a public park. The agreement was renewed annually. Bogachiel Resort maintained and operated the park from 1958 until the Commission officially staffed it in 1961.
Facilities
There are 34 standard campsites, 6 utility sites, 2 primitive sites, 2 comfort stations, 2 shelters and an adirondack shelter; day use area with 6 picnic sites and a community kitchen is served by the campground comfort stations. In addition, there is 1 residence with combination woodshed/garage, an office building, a reservoir and a shop. Onehalf mile of paved asphalt road and 1/2 mile of foot trails provide access to the park.
